A full day of FREE 30 minute taster sessions to give all the ladies (and gents) of Thanet an opportunity to try out different styles of Yoga and Pilates.

9:00 Pilates Beginners - FULLY BOOKED (email for waitlist)

Come and find out what pilates is. Looking at the connection of the rib cage to the pelvis and what is commonly known as the centre of the body. Learn how this connection ad awareness through everyday life can affect and assist everyday movement. Suitable for complete beginners including post-natal clients.

10:00 Pranayama

Breathing Meditation for stressed out mums

"when you own your breath, nobody can steal your peace''

Come and experience the wonderful benefits of Pranayama. We will spend 30 minutes reconnecting with our breath, body & spirit. Be prepared to leave class feeling floaty and uplifted.

11:00 Pilates Flow (Pilates for Yogi's) - FULLY BOOKED (email for waitlist)

A flowing pilates class for those familiar with Yoga and looking to improve and prolong their practice. Pilates helps teach your body how supported movement can help increase strength and flexibility, allowing you to progress through those yoga poses pain and injury free..

12:00 Vinyasa Flow Yoga - FULLY BOOKED (email for waitlist)

An introduction to the Vinyasa Flow style of yoga. An exploration of the foundational postures, Sun Salutations and breath connection. A flowing sequence building heat and energy; suitable for able-bodied beginners. 

13:00 Myofascial release (foam rolling) FULLY BOOKED (email for waitlist)

Foam rolling is a way of releasing tired and aching muscles without having to go to see a masseuse. Whether you are looking for muscle gain, fitness or just through everyday life, muscles become tight tired and often painful and imbalanced. Learn this self applied method with control and alignment for the whole body.

14:00 Gentle Yoga - FULLY BOOKED (email for waitlist)

30 minutes of pure relaxation that belongs completely to you. Amie will guide you through a sequence of flowing, nurturing postures to gently stretch the muscles and reconnect to our breath. This class is perfect for those in need of a quiet and soothing practice.

All levels welcome, including complete beginners.

15:00 Pilates 'Surgery' (suitable for ante/post natal clients)

Not exercised in a long time, injured or just want to start looking after your body but not sure how? Come along and try out a group class tailored to each individual in the room. Great for disc issues, arthritis, plantar faciitis, hip/knee replacements, sciatica, general back pain, and much more. The class will mainly be in standing or on a chair, please however note there are stairs down to Cliffs yoga studio. 

Please arrive 15 mins prior to this class. 

NB. Proudfoot Pilates will not diagnose any medical injuries. 

16:00 Pregnancy Yoga

An introduction for mum's-to-be into the beneficial effects of yoga during pregnancy. Ease out aches and pains, strengthen and build stamina, give yourself time to breath deeply. 

Welcome to all pregnant ladies from second trimester onwards. 

17:00 Yoga Nidra - FULLY BOOKED (email for waitlist)

Yoga Nidra directly translates to 'yogic sleep'. Take half an hour to find complete stillness in your body and your mind. Amie will take us on a floaty journey down the river of guided meditation along with mini Indian head & neck massage. Anybody welcome.
