Mum & Baby Yoga w/ Maria Cairns

A unique postnatal yoga class which focus on mum’s healing journey while bonding with your new baby. This class aims to rebuild your core and pelvic floor strength, reconnect with your body and calm your mind.

All of the postures can be practiced with or without your baby, depending on how you prefer to focus, and depending on how baby feels. Sometimes our classes are quiet and sometimes there is crying. Sometimes the babies are full of fun and sometimes they just want to snuggle up to mummy and feed. The key thing to remember is that there is no pressure on you or baby and you can just take the class at your own pace. We will work on breathing and relaxation techniques and do lots of lovely stretching while making sure your little one is entertained.

Suitable for all mamas from 6 weeks post partum, or 8 weeks post a cesarean section delivery, unless suggested otherwise by GP.

BYOB (Bring Your Own Baby) and a baby blanket. Open to all mamas, no experience necessary.
